It’s a question we’ve all received at a networking event, a party or just making small talk in the elevator. Here’s the kicker, can you and the people at your company answer that questions in a consistent manner?
Take some time to answer this question.
Hopefully, your leadership has clearly defined what your company does and how to clearly state that. Of course, your accounting department may not need to be as well versed as your sales staff. But each member of your staff should have a level of familiarity with your company’s objectives appropriate to their position. It is important that you communicate this to each employee, however.
If you are able to do so, provide some examples of how your company has met your goals in the past. Client case studies are some of the best ways to shine while using an external source. Make these available to your staff and on your website, with your clients’ permission of course.
