Hey there, I just wanted to share some quick tips on how to create great content on social or any media. Whether its Facebook, Direct Mail, Google Ads or any other of the many platforms you can promote your business on, here are some guideline to help you along the way.
Know Your Audience.
We are at risk of sounding like a broken record here because it’s central to what we do and it’s pretty much the main tenant of marketing. MWI Direct and MWI Digital leverage data to make sure the right audience sees your content. What problem can you solve for your audience? Don’t know? Find out.
Give Them Things for Free.
So you’ve found out what your audience needs. Now give them some of it for free. Whether it’s a webinar on building bridges, a white paper on the benefits of refrigeration vs freezing, or an article on how to make valuable content on social (or any) media. Offering information will bring people to you, this is called Inbound Marketing. Positioning yourself as an expert in your industry will also help build trust amongst your target audience.
Post Often
When you have a social media presence, it’s important to have, well, a presence. So many Facebook and Twitter profiles out there have not done a thing since 2016 when the company briefly decided to jump on the bus but quickly gave up. This looks pretty bad and may have potential wondering whether you are still in business or not. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t have a large audience, these things don’t happen overnight, even if you spend a lot of money. Make sure you post regularly about topics related to your industry.

Not really, you can keep reading and re-reading as much as you’d like. But you see my point, urgency helps drive people to take action. If you see that a product is 30% off this week only, you will likely consider making a purchase this week. If you have a special offer for the first 100 customers only, your prospects will really consider taking you up on that offer (if 100 customers is not a large amount for your business.) Scarcity is another tool you can use to create urgency and drive sales.
