- Good ad copy. My mentor once said: “You can get someone to read every word of a page by writing ‘Every word on this page is about you.” Make sure you include a compelling call to action that lines up with your objectives for the campaign.
- Eye-catching visuals. This one can be a bit more nebulous but here are a few general elements such as faces, something out of the ordinary, and a design that isn’t too crowded.
- Unique features. There are some amazing things going on in the world of direct mail right now. Ever received a mailing that was in a unique shape or had a unique texture that caught your attention?
